ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Statement

Reviewed: 13 September 2026

Next manual accessibility assessment scheduled: 1 October 2026

NGBS is committed to making ngbs.co.uk usable by as many people as possible. We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 at Level AA and improve the experience as the website evolves.

A clear commitment, not an unsupported certification claim

This statement does not claim certification, an independent accessibility audit or complete conformance.

1What you should be able to do

We aim to make it possible for visitors to:

  • navigate the website using a keyboard;
  • use a visible keyboard focus indicator;
  • skip repeated navigation and move to the main content;
  • read content at narrow screen widths and when text is enlarged;
  • understand content without relying on colour alone;
  • use meaningful headings, labels and link descriptions;
  • access text alternatives for informative images; and
  • use core content and navigation without JavaScript where reasonably possible.

2Measures we take

The website includes:

  • semantic page structure and consistent navigation landmarks;
  • responsive layouts;
  • keyboard-accessible controls;
  • reduced-motion support;
  • accessible names and instructions for forms and interactive controls;
  • text alternatives for informative imagery and appropriate treatment of decorative images;
  • validation and status messages intended to work with assistive technologies; and
  • automated and manual accessibility checks during development and release.

3Assessment approach

NGBS assesses the website using a combination of:

  • source-code and generated-HTML checks;
  • automated accessibility assertions;
  • keyboard-navigation review;
  • desktop and narrow-screen visual review;
  • zoom, reflow and overflow checks;
  • review of image alternatives and reduced-motion behaviour; and
  • manual testing of critical visitor journeys.

Automated checks alone cannot establish full accessibility conformance. NGBS has not claimed an independent accessibility certification.

A further manual accessibility assessment is scheduled for 1 October 2026. It will cover representative pages and important visitor journeys, including site navigation, the mobile menu, Contact-form submission, Calendly booking, keyboard-only use, visible focus, headings and landmarks, form labels and errors, colour contrast, zoom and reflow, reduced motion, status announcements and selected screen-reader and browser combinations.

After the assessment has been completed, this statement will be updated with the assessment date, confirmed scope, results and any known limitations.

4Known limitations

Some third-party services are outside NGBS’s complete interface control:

  • Calendly — the embedded booking experience may behave differently from the rest of the website with some browsers or assistive technologies.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — the Contact form’s security verification requires JavaScript and may present different accessibility behaviour depending on risk checks and browser settings.

If you cannot use the embedded calendar, open the direct Calendly booking page or email NGBS to arrange a meeting.

If you cannot complete the Contact form or security check, email iqbal@ngbs.co.uk instead.

5JavaScript and third-party content

Core website content and navigation are intended to remain available without JavaScript. Some interactive functions, including the Contact-form security verification and embedded meeting calendar, require JavaScript.

Where practical, the website provides direct email and booking alternatives for those functions.

6Feedback and assistance

If you experience an accessibility problem or need information in another format, email iqbal@ngbs.co.uk.

Please tell us:

  • which page or feature caused difficulty;
  • what happened;
  • the browser or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing it; and
  • the format or assistance you need.

We will review material accessibility barriers and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

7Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is part of NGBS’s design, development and release process. We will review this statement when material website functionality changes, when testing identifies a limitation or when a visitor reports a barrier.
