Points Solutions
Flexible engineering capacity for a technology delivery partner
NGBS provides flexible engineering capacity that helps Points Solutions respond to delivery requirements while retaining control over role definition, interviews and engineer selection.
NGBS has worked with Points Solutions as an engineering delivery partner since January 2020. The relationship supports its resource augmentation service by providing access to suitable engineers as delivery requirements emerge.
An established route to engineering capacity
Technology delivery requirements are not always predictable. A delivery organisation may need additional capacity, a replacement engineer or support for a new requirement. The standing relationship gives Points Solutions a repeatable route to engineering capacity without establishing a new supplier relationship each time.
Requirements remain client-led
Points Solutions shares the job description and delivery requirements. NGBS identifies and screens suitable engineers, after which Points Solutions interviews candidates and selects the people it considers appropriate. Control over the requirement and final selection remains with Points Solutions.
Flexible support for changing delivery needs
The arrangement allows Points Solutions to request additional capacity when delivery needs emerge. The established process provides a clear route from requirement definition through candidate evaluation and practical engagement arrangements.
Onsite support when required
The relationship generally supports flexible engineering capacity, but selected engineers can also attend onsite when delivery, onboarding or collaboration requirements make that useful.
Clear responsibilities
Points Solutions defines the requirement, conducts interviews, selects engineers and retains control of its customer relationships. NGBS identifies suitable engineers and supports employment, administration and continuity. Confidential project, customer and commercial information must not be disclosed.
The outcome
Points Solutions has a dependable route to additional engineering capacity without giving up control over engineer selection. The relationship supports flexibility, continuity and faster access to suitable pre-screened engineers when delivery requirements arise.
